Modernization of the “Dzikowiec” ski slope lighting in Boguszów-Gorce. The project involved replacing luminaires with LED, contributing to increased user safety and reduced energy costs.
At the “Dzikowiec” Sports and Recreation Center, we modernized the lighting of the ski slope and parking area. The project was carried out during the winter season to provide tourists and athletes with better conditions during evening activities. New LED luminaires significantly reduced energy consumption and improved the comfort of using the facility.

The key challenge was modernizing the lighting on a steep ski slope, which required a tailored approach. Our goal was to complete the project with minimal disruption to the facility’s operation while meeting sports lighting standards.
It’s mainly about safety, but also comfort. Slope users appreciate being in a place that allows them to enjoy evening skiing as well.

Lighting Concept
In the project, we used Skylight LED VIII luminaires, which meet the strict requirements of sports standards, including the PN-EN 12193 standard for sports facility lighting. This ensured an average light intensity of ≥20 lx, and uniformity reached 0.2. The installation was carried out using a 1:1 replacement system, enabling a quick implementation of the new lighting using existing poles.

We started with a site visit to identify the needs and challenges related to slope lighting modernization. The audit revealed the need to replace luminaires while maintaining the existing pole infrastructure.
Next, we prepared a project including LED luminaires that meet sports standards. Installation took place during winter, allowing for an immediate improvement in slope safety and user comfort without disrupting the facility’s operation. The installed luminaires provided uniform lighting and energy savings.
