Open spaces such as outdoor squares require reliable and uniform lighting — this is exactly what the Cordoba LED 3.0 Mini was made for. Its high luminous efficacy and solid, weather-resistant construction guarantee long-lasting and trouble-free performance. Thanks to flexible mounting options, the luminaire perfectly fits into various types of public areas.
Control systems
Modern street lighting control systems are key to creating energy-efficient and sustainable urban environments. They allow real-time monitoring and management of luminaires, enabling dynamic adjustment of lighting parameters to environmental conditions such as traffic intensity, time of day, or weather. Features such as dimming, scheduling, and failure detection enhance operational efficiency while reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.
Zhaga top
Zhaga top is a connector placed at the top of the luminaire, designed for installing communication modules such as LoRaWAN, Zigbee, or LTE antennas. It enables integration of luminaires with larger IoT systems by transmitting data to a central management system. Zhaga Top allows easy lighting upgrades by installing new technologies without replacing the entire luminaire.
Zhaga bottom
Zhaga bottom is a connector mounted at the bottom of the luminaire, allowing connection of control devices such as motion sensors, dusk sensors, or light intensity meters. This enables the luminaire to dynamically adapt its operation to current conditions, e.g., increasing brightness upon motion detection or turning on automatically at dusk.
Nema
NEMA is a standard 7-pin socket used in street luminaires, allowing connection of control and communication modules such as light sensors or Zigbee and LoRaWAN devices. Its universality and ease of component replacement support flexibility and modernization of lighting systems.
DALI
DALI is a digital communication standard that enables precise control of individual or grouped luminaires. In street lighting, it allows light intensity regulation, energy consumption monitoring, and fast failure detection. The DALI-2 version integrates with IoT systems, making it a key element of smart cities.
Color temperature
Warm light (3000K) is more environmentally friendly and less disruptive to the biological rhythms of people and animals, making it preferred in residential areas and parks.
Neutral light (4000K) improves visibility and safety by increasing the distance at which drivers can see potential hazards. It is often chosen for main roads and highways, despite concerns about blue light emissions.
The selection of color temperature should balance environmental concerns with road users’ needs, ensuring both efficiency and safety.
