LED lighting modernization in REINO warehouse halls delivered 59% annual energy savings while also improving working comfort and flexibility in space arrangement.
As part of the project, Luxon LED carried out a comprehensive lighting modernization across 250,000 m² of warehouse space. The investment met the client’s needs in terms of energy efficiency, compliance with standards, and adaptability to the changing layout of shelving systems.

The client wanted to save energy and reduce operating costs. The main challenges were to provide enough light at heights over 10 meters and to adjust the lighting to changing rack layouts. It was also important to reduce glare to make the work environment more comfortable.
This project was a technical challenge, but thanks to the right choice of fixtures and a flexible approach to the client’s requirements, full satisfaction and significant energy savings were achieved.

Lighting concept
The project focused on versatility and cost optimization.
Elemento LED fixtures were used to provide even illumination and low glare. The fixtures were arranged using a light point optimization system, allowing the installation to meet standards and the specific needs of the warehouse space. Number of fixtures used: 4702.

The cooperation began with a detailed audit of the existing lighting, which identified opportunities to optimize the number of light points. Next, a design was developed to meet the needs of 18 tenants across five locations. The installation was carried out in stages to ensure continuous operation of the facilities.
During implementation, the focus was on adapting solutions to the existing electrical infrastructure and meeting standards for warehouse spaces. Thanks to the use of highly versatile fixtures, suited to the changing racking layouts, the investment met its technical and economic goals.
