Modernization of LED lighting and implementation of a control system in production halls during ongoing plant operations.
Arix, a manufacturer of cleaning and personal hygiene products, decided to upgrade the lighting in two production halls with a combined area of 8,000 m². Our task was to improve working conditions and reduce energy consumption. We conducted a full audit, proposed LED lumianires, and implemented a DALI control system, enabling automated lighting management.

Automating the lighting control system
Arix required a lighting upgrade due to reduced efficiency from years of use. The client insisted that the modernization process not disrupt daily plant operations, requiring careful synchronization of installation work. Additional priorities were reducing glare, improving color rendering quality, and introducing automated lighting controls to lower operational costs.
Arix achieved significant reductions in electricity consumption through efficient LED luminaires and automation. Increased light levels at workstations and improved employee comfort.

Lighting Concept
The project utilized linear luminaires with corridor optics, tailored for industrial plants. The lighting is characterized by high mechanical resistance, tightness, and low glare. The fixtures significantly reduced glare and improved color rendering. The DALI automation system, along with motion sensors, enabled precise lighting management, adjusting conditions to the production needs.

Our collaboration with Arix began with a thorough inventory and audit of the existing lighting in the production halls. During the audit, we identified all key issues, such as low light intensity and glare, which hindered workstations.
After the audit, we proceeded with designing the new lighting system. We used LED luminaires with a high color rendering index and integrated the automatic DALI control system. The installation was carried out during full plant operations, requiring a precise schedule and close cooperation with the client to avoid disruptions in production processes.
