Variolux LED MultiPower 1.0 is an industrial High Bay luminaire, primarily distinguished by its Multipower function. The device allows for the selection of one of three operating modes: 100 W, 150 W, or 200 W, enabling flexible adjustment of the lighting to current needs. At the maximum setting, the luminaire generates a luminous flux of 35,100 lm, maintaining a high luminous efficacy of 175 lm/W. The light source consists of Highpower 5050 LEDs (4000K, CRI >80). Its construction, based on high-pressure die-cast aluminum, guarantees IP66 tightness and IK10 impact resistance. Designed specifically for production halls and warehouses, it offers a choice of 60°/90°/110° optics. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +50°C.

Variolux LED MultiPower 1.0: Luminaire with Power Adjustment

The most important feature of the Variolux LED MultiPower 1.0 luminaire is the built-in MultiPower functionality, which allows for changing the device’s operating parameters. The fixture offers three power levels: 100 W, 150 W, and 200 W. Thanks to this solution, a single model can be configured for various mounting heights and lighting intensity requirements within one project, and it also allows for future parameter adjustments without the need to replace the device.

 

Efficiency and Lighting Parameters

The luminaire is characterized by high energy efficiency at 176 lm/W. Depending on the selected power mode, the device delivers a properly scaled luminous flux, reaching a maximum of 35,100 lm at the 200 W setting. The Highpower 5050 LEDs used emit light with a neutral color temperature of 4000K and a color rendering index of CRI >80, ensuring comfortable working conditions.

 

Solid Industrial Construction

The luminaire body is made of powder-coated high-pressure die-cast aluminum, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and durability. The design is adapted to work in harsh environmental conditions:

  • Protection class IP66 – full protection against dust and water.
  • Mechanical resistance IK10 – protection against mechanical damage.
  • Ambient temperature – reliable operation in the range from -40°C to +50°C.

Optics and Application

Variolux LED MultiPower 1.0 is equipped with lenses made of polycarbonate (PC), available in three light distribution variants, allowing for precise lighting of various spaces: 60°x60°, 90°x90°, 110°x110°.

Production Halls

Variolux LED MultiPower 1.0 is an excellent choice for production halls thanks to its CRI >80, which guarantees precise color recognition and high working comfort. The robust IK10 housing and IP66 ingress protection ensure maintenance-free operation in harsh conditions involving dust and moisture. Adjustable power settings allow for flexible light intensity adaptation to meet specific technological requirements.

Warehouses

In warehouse environments, the key features are the 176 lm/W efficacy and focused optics, which effectively direct light straight into the aisles between shelving racks. The MultiPower function enables energy consumption optimization by selecting 100, 150, or 200 W power levels depending on the mounting height. The long lifespan of the components minimizes the need for costly maintenance work at significant heights.

Public Facilities

The highest IK10 impact resistance protects the device against mechanical damage and acts of vandalism. Wide beam angles, combined with a neutral 4000K color temperature, provide uniform and aesthetic illumination of public spaces.
