Prerequisites and needs

The client planned modernization for three important reasons. They wanted to get higher illuminance level in warehouse and production buildings. In addition, the new luminaires were intended to improve the safety of employees at work and the lighting ultimately was to ensure savings. Before, there had been metal-halogen and
fluorescent luminaires mounted on the company’s premises.

Our requirements were met, among others thanks to the professional service and professional approach to the need to meet all lighting standards on the premises.

Implementation

The process began with an audit, collection of measurement results and preparation of lighting design. To improve the comfort of employees and increase the level of intensity, we chose luminaires from the Highbay:LED series with high color rendering index (CRI 80) and Lumiline:LED light lines have been selected for industrial parts. They are suitable for high-bay warehouses. The higher the index, the more accurate colour reproduction. Therefore, it is very important in the halls where precise machining takes place. In the social and office sections, luminaires from the Simpli:LED series were chosen (replaced by the Edge:LED series). The natural colour temperature of 4000K was used, which is the most frequently chosen variant for offices. It does not cause the feeling of drowsiness, like the warm colour and it also prevents the feeling of irritability after a few hours of work, caused by the cold colour.

What did the Customer gain?

We have met all three of the client’s requirements

  • Lighting in each of the company’s premises has been designed and installed according to valid standards
  • The level of illumination was increased, while energy demand has been reduced by 40%.
